Software for text recognition

The OCR server by Tobit Software creates text from an incoming fax using optical character recognition technology. With David or FaxWare and the OCR-server you have powerful options for managing your incoming fax documents.

The OCR software directly runs on the server and produces ASCII texts from incoming faxes automatically. Thus it is possible to copy or to alter complete text passages from faxes and make them available in other documents or systems. And if you wish, your faxes can be read via synthetic voice on the telephone. With the new OCR-server the fax functions of David V8 become nearly perfect.
