David V8 - Licenses

David V8 is licensed based on users, ports and add-ons. Select a Start License, then add Scale Licenses for additional DvISE users and Ports. Finally, choose an add-on Improvement license.

The Tobit Start License is the base of a David V8 installation. It equips the server with all standard David services, the specified number of named users, one standard port and one email port. There are two types of Tobit Scale License: User licenses define how many additional users can work with David V8 and the Tobit InfoCenter while port licenses determine the number of communication lines on your server.

Tobit Improvement Licenses and Tobit Subscription Licenses provide functional extensions to basic David services. Subscription Licenses are either limited- or volume-limited.

Each Tobit Start License includes a DvISE Full-Port, corresponding to each a B-channel of your ISDN board. The connection to EIB is also realized via a DvISE Full Port. Mailports are free.
